Bombing at Banco Francés in Buenos Aires

30 12 2009

From Ai Ferri Corti:

December 30, 2009

In solidarity with the international hunger strike being carried out by anarchist comrades, we used a medium-powered homemade device to attack a Banco Francés branch on the corner of Calle Corrientes and Calle Uruguay in downtown Buenos Aires.

In this way we show the vulnerability of spaces controlled by capital, and the uselessness of its faithful servants.

We salute all those who struggle every day against this system of misery and hunger, and we call on them to not lower their guard and to continue the campaign of offensives against the state and capital.

Bombings at BBVA bank branch and Kenworth company in Mexico

30 12 2009

From Liberación Total:

December 29, 2009

Communiqué:

At around 3 a.m. on December 24, we left an explosive device stuffed with dynamite at the BBVA bank branch in Ecatepec, Mexico State. At the same time, we left another one of our gifts in front of of the Kenworth company, which was being guarded by two state police patrols. Both targets suffered damage to their windows.

We undertook this action on the same avenue (José López Portillo) where, a few weeks ago, the “Unforgettable Vengeance Eco-Sabotage Brigade” detonated a gas canister bomb at a Banamex in Coacalco. The authorities didn’t imagine that other groups would again attack the same “controlled perimeter,” and they left such targets vulnerable and ready for our packages of dynamite.

The destruction of their social peace was inevitable when the fuse was lit and the device activated. The loud explosions echoed in the ears of those who sustain power and authoritarianism, gained at the cost of the destruction of the planet we live on, which in turn is mostly caused by companies like the ones we attacked this morning.

BBVA is a deceitful company that manages money earned from the exploitation of animals, humans, and the Earth. Kenworth is tied to the construction industry and has contacts with businesses like CAT and CARSO, which are directly responsible for environmental devastation. They received our message, not with words, but with actions. Since we deal radically with subjects like the ones mentioned in this communiqué, we have decided to no longer speak, and to begin to act.

The day after our action, the merciless newspapers mentioned nothing about what happened, yet they were filled with hypocritical nonsense about “merry Christmas celebrations,” on an ominous date admired by insatiable capitalism as the socioeconomic reclamation of its reign over the world. The conspiracy between the media and the authorities that caught a glimpse of our action was clear. Their aim is to keep society calm on these festive days, and who would be calmed by seeing news about bombs exploding in the country during such important times of “friendly coexistence”? We screwed their expectations. They know that discontent is not only in our heads, but also in our sabotage, even though it may be hidden or distorted.

With these explosions, we want to show solidarity with those arrested on December 15 in Tlalpan, Mexico City, especially Abraham and Fermín. They may be young, but their great commitment to Earth liberation is more than apparent, and one of the ways to start the offensive for direct solidarity. Hang in there, compas. May the fires burn and the bombs explode in your names!

Direct solidarity with Víctor Herrera, Emmanuel Hernández, Abraham López, and Fermín Gómez!

Amadeu Casellas announces new hunger strike

29 12 2009

From Punto de Fuga:

December 25, 2009

Communiqué:

Ever since the socialists of the PSC took charge of Catalan prisons, deaths have multiplied, especially during the last three years under Montserrat Tura’s leadership. In Brians 2 prison alone, which opened two years ago, there have been more than 30 deaths. If we take into account that there are 11 prisons in Catalunya, without counting the deaths that occurred in Terrassa Prison Hospital due to incurable disease, how many deaths have there been? Where is the dignity for these sick prisoners who die alone in a prison hospital? Where are the humanitarian motives?

Among the deaths due to overdose or hanging, most are suicides caused by trickery, lies, and the separation of prisoners from their loved ones as a form of secret reprisal or punishment—a sad record for a government that considers itself leftist and socialist. I suppose Montserrat Tura, Councilor of Justice, is proud of exterminating people from working families. The strange thing is that, among so many dead, I know of none who were rich, politicians, police, or businessmen. But of course, how can I be so dense? Such people are not in prison, and when they are here for a brief stay, they are treated with velvet gloves. Certainly not! Right, Montserrat Tura? I imagine that for you it’s a pity I am not among the many dead—nor will I be, at least not from overdose or hanging. If I die, it will be from one of those long hunger strikes I am forced to go on as a result of the captivity that I and other comrades are enduring. But now you see that your lies can’t break me. I am not giving up, and you know it. On January 20, I will begin another long hunger strike, and this one will last until I die or am set free. As you can see, there are more people outside these walls who are with me each time—people who aren’t anarchists like me, because we anarchists, as you already know, don’t yield to authoritarian fascists like you. The people to whom I am referring are the ones who go to the voting booths, and they will surely know that a vote for the PSC in the next Catalan election is the same as a vote for the PP. Therefore, I hope they send you where you belong: the Catalan sewers. The struggle continues, Montserrat Tura. Don’t you forget it.

Bombing near Federal Prison System headquarters in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Direct action in solidarity with the prisoners on hunger strike

Communiqué:

At around 2 a.m. on Sunday, December 27, we left an explosive device in the vicinity of the Federal Prison System headquarters located at the corner of Calle Lavalle and Calle Pueyrredon. We hid the charge under an SUV owned by some bourgeois, once again showing the vulnerability of the control these hired killers try to exert over our lives.

We want to dedicate this action to the anarchist prisoners on hunger strike from December 20 to January 1, thereby spreading the offensive they began and remembering our fallen comrades in the struggle against the state, capital, and prison—like Mauricio Morales, like Zoe, like Paco Ortiz, like so many others.

While our enemies hold our brothers and sisters captive in their death camps, they will not have a moment’s peace, even in their own cellars.

Bombing claimed: Seasons greetings, Banco Santander

27 12 2009

From Hommodolars Contrainformación:

December 26, 2009

Sent via e-mail

Tonight, we’d like to salute Banco Santander as yet another partner in consumerism and misery, and we wish them a most catastrophic 2010.

Merry Christmas, bourgeoisie!!!!!!

Vengeance for our comrade prisoners in this social war, which is only apparent to those who consider themselves warriors against the everyday, against the existent, without forgetting for one second how surrounded we are by the enemy. Complicity with those who feel the severity of repression. Greetings to Gabriel, Pablo, Matias, Marco, Marcelo, Esteban, Axel, Flora, Marcelo, Fredy, Cristian, Zisarro, Cejita, and all the world’s prisoners, who―limited by prison―still continue the constant rupture with everything that stinks of power.

And for the destruction of authority and all institutional society, fire to the state, the jails, and the jailers!

While there is misery, there will be rebellion!

Bombing at Banco Santander in Santiago, Chile

27 12 2009

On the night of December 24, an explosive device blew up at a Banco Santander branch located at the intersection of Raulí and Avenida 10 de Julio in Santiago.

The explosion happened at around midnight, destroying the bank’s windows and damaging the roof.

GOPE (Police Special Operations Group) personnel arrived on the scene after midnight in order to begin investigating the type of device used.

Arson at Chilean consulate in Seville

26 12 2009

From Klinamen via Barcelona Indymedia:

December 26, 2009

In the early morning of December 24, we threw two Molotov cocktails at the Chilean consulate in Seville.

A few days earlier, comrades Freddy Fuentevilla and Marcelo Villaroel were extradited from Neuquen prison in Argentina, where they were serving a sentence for weapons possession, to Chile, where they are facing state repression and imprisonment for their expropriations and revolutionary activity.

This attack is part of the international week of struggle advocated by Gabriel Pombo da Silva from Aachen prison in Germany, which began on December 18 with a hunger strike joined by other prisoner compas in different states, for whom we decided to take action in the streets.

While the citizenry, disconnected from reality, was celebrating another year of runaway consumption and capitalist misery, we—who have nothing to celebrate but much to destroy—took advantage of the occasion to throw two Molotov cocktails. One of them got into the building while the other exploded against the wooden front door, but we don’t know how much damage they caused. We also left a clear message to the Chilean state on the walls: FREEDOM FOR FREDDY AND MARCELO.

With this action, we aspire to nothing other than direct confrontation with the enemy, using the means we have at our disposal and continuing the journey that others began. As Marcelo Villaroel shouted while the state’s henchmen took him to be extradited: WHILE THERE IS MISERY, THERE WILL BE REBELLION. SUBVERSION MAY SLUMBER, BUT IT WILL NEVER DISAPPEAR.

For Freddy, Marcelo, Pombo, Amadeu, Tamara, and so many others who keep fighting.

Attack on Earth-destroying property in Mexico

26 12 2009

From Liberación Total:

December 24, 2009

Communiqué:

On the cold night of December 22, our Earth Liberation Front cell once again attacked the property of one of the companies destroying the ecosystems of Mexico.

For the third consecutive time this year, another arson shook the CARSO company. Our strategy was simple. We circled the construction site, after which we found a steamroller in the darkness. One of the cabin windows was broken, and we placed an incendiary device inside. Taking advantage of the fact that the guards were in front of the site and the workers were toiling hard, we activated our device and left the scene.

After a few minutes, the spark of eco-vengeance appeared in the darkness and started to burn the machine. Inside the cabin, a great burst of flame was shining, created once again by the ELF. Then, while the moon smiled beside the stars, a large cloud covered the whole site and alerted the guards, workers, and bosses, filling this peaceful night of their tedious lives with chaos and confusion.

While the lackeys of the Earth-destroyers began to extinguish our fire, we exited the stage.

This is a new messages for companies like CARSO: We will not be stopped. Even when you imprison our comrades or catch us, the actions will continue. Each time stones or Molotovs are thrown, butane gas bombs are placed, cars are burned, animals are freed, or graffiti is left behind, our idea will be there, breaking your order, your peace, your tranquility, and your laws in order to defend our desires. We can’t leave the planet in the hands of businessmen and politicians. It’s up to us to try to change things. The COP15 in Denmark was a complete farce, and we know the COP16 in Mexico will be the same, so we are preparing the counteroffensive in defense of the Earth!

A greeting of solidarity to the people recently imprisoned by the Mexican state. Breaking up one cell won’t stop us!

- ELF Mexico State

They will always beat us down. We will always get back up. [Plus Tamara update]

24 12 2009

From Klinamen:

Leaflet distributed during the demonstrations of support for anarchist prisoner Tamara

It’s not the first time, and it won’t be the last. It happened two days ago, on December 15. The police went to our comrade Tamara’s home in Madrid and arrested her on an order from the 25th district court of Barcelona. She is accused of sending a letter-bomb to the infamous Albert Batlle i Bastardas, Secretary of Prison Services for the Generalitat.

Regardless of whether or not our comrade is the perpetrator of the act (it makes no difference to us), the reasons why someone would want to attack Mr. Batlle are obvious to anyone familiar with his activities. As the one directly in charge of managing Catalunya’s prisons, his responsibility for the injustices that occur inside them can’t be denied. Nor can one deny his responsibility for the deaths, the secret life sentences, the torture, the terrible sanitary conditions that create physical and mental illness, the many types of abuse, and the very essence of prison as a tool used by the system to punish the poverty and rebelliousness it produces. It can’t be denied, because even though Mr. Battle didn’t invent prisons, he expressly decides what happens in them.

Then the message is very clear: Don’t you dare respond to the state’s abuses, because the state is untouchable, and whoever acts against it must be crushed, confined, isolated, or destroyed. We know the lesson well; they have spent years teaching it to us. This same idea has been explained in many different ways: by beating us during demonstrations, by blackmailing us with astronomical fines and bail amounts, by torturing us, by threatening our families, and by killing us, like they did to Xosé Tarrío and Paco Ortiz. But even so, we’re stubborn and we refuse to learn it.

Nor can we or do we want to accept that, in the face of everything going on in our lives and our world, only resignation is possible. We can’t cross our arms in the face of the violence of wage-labor or the anguish of being on strike. We can’t be quiet in the face of misery, immigrant detention centers, beatings by police and security guards, or projects that destroy the Earth. And we certainly can’t be quiet in the face of prisons. In the face of all this destruction, we take our positions on the barricades that divide the world, face to face with those who promote and benefit from that destruction, like Mr. Batlle. Therefore, we are with Tamara, because that is where we have to be. And if they beat us down, we will not budge. We will simply get back up.

Solidarity with Tamara! Freedom for anarchist prisoners!

More on Tamara:

  • Demonstrators at Wad-Ras prison on Thursday found out that Tamara could hear them and that she was “filled with strength” just knowing they were outside.
  • Tamara’s closest friends and comrades live in Madrid, some 700 kilometers away from where she is imprisoned. Therefore, Barcelona anarchists are mobilizing to make sure that she lacks nothing, whether material, emotional, or in a revolutionary sense. Space has been set aside at the Besòs Anarchist Library so that people can leave things to be sent to Tamara. Her basic needs include books, clothing (nothing navy blue, and no gray pants), and new, sealed music CDs.

Bombing at Chilena Consolidada insurance company claimed

22 12 2009

From Hommodolars Contrainformación:

December 21, 2009

Sent via e-mail

Through the following e-mail, we want to claim responsibility for the bombing carried out last night against the Chilena Consolidada (a member of the Zurich [economic] Group) building. Said action marks the beginning of the December 20–January 1 international hunger strike for political prisoners called by Gabriel Pombo Da Silva from the prison death camp of Aachen, Germany.

The attack against this company—an exponent of Chilean finance capitalism allied with Swiss capitalist interests—is a gesture of solidarity with Marco Camenisch, revolutionary prisoner of the Swiss capital-state.

Although words heal nothing, we regret that someone experienced slight hearing trauma, despite the fact that the low-strength charge was designed to only damage the infrastructure of capital.

This is a call to burn black powder and continue the unforgettable offensive.

WHILE THERE IS MISERY, THERE WILL BE REBELLION!
FREEDOM FOR THE WORLD’S ANTICAPITALIST POLITICAL PRISONERS!
